!!!!!!!!DO NOT SKIP THIS PART!!!!!!!!

There is something that you should know. If you download any other addon scenery that has a scenery.cfg file, it will overwrite the file that I have added. This would be bad because the scenery.cfg file that I have included is used for flattening the default Devils Tower. If you were to overwrite that file, then my Devils Tower would appear to be sitting on top of the default one. The chances of downloading another addon scenery with a scenery.cfg file is very small though. I have downloaded tons of new scenery, and have yet to come across one.

If you do find one though, dont worry, I have a solution for you. I have included at the bottom of this file, the flatten switch that was used in the scenery.cfg file. All you will need to do is copy it, and paste it in the proper location in the new scenery.cfg file.

You can open the scenery.cfg file with notepad. Once opened, look for these lines:

[Area.051]
Title=Northwestern US
Active=TRUE
Layer=51
Remote=
Required=FALSE
Local=scenedb\westhem\usnw

Place the flatten switch right under the line that reads "Local=scenedb\westhem\usnw". Here is the flatten switch:

Flatten.0=3939,N44 36.02,W104 42.92,N44 35.30,W104 42.23,N44 34.82,W104 43.30,N44 35.58,W104 43.88

When your done, it should look like this:

[Area.051]
Title=Northwestern US
Active=TRUE
Layer=51
Remote=
Required=FALSE
Local=scenedb\westhem\usnw
Flatten.0=3939,N44 36.02,W104 42.92,N44 35.30,W104 42.23,N44 34.82,W104 43.30,N44 35.58,W104 43.88

Thats all you have to do! I hope you enjoy your flight.

SOME OTHER NOTES

In this version, the ground textures will not change with the seasons. At this time, only the spring textures apply. I am planning on another version to include seasonal textures, and autogen trees. So keep looking for the new version 1.1.
